Adarsh Hathi is an international corporate and business lawyer specializing in commercial transactions, trade and finance. He has substantial legal experience working and studying in the United States, India and the European Community.

He has particular expertise and familiarity with the full range of laws and issues applicable to doing business in India whether through outsourcing, direct investment, or joint venture relationships. This places him in a unique position to facilitate foreign businesses to navigate through the complexities of the Indian laws and legal institutions and successfully realize their investments in India. Mr. Hathi also assists his Indian clients with their legal needs in the United States.

Mr Hathi’s experience in India includes structuring and negotiating numerous commercial transactions pertaining to loan agreements, joint ventures, industrial relations, arbitration and trademarks for major multinational entities, Government and private Indian companies.  He developed particular expertise in areas of industrial and labor laws and appeared before Industrial Tribunals and Labor Courts.

In European Union, Mr Hathi worked in Brussels with a major Belgian law firm assisting the partner with his work on legal reforms in Central and Eastern Europe under the European Union’s PHARE program. This included the “acquis communautaire” project to implement legislation passed by the European Union and modernize commercial laws in Lithuania and Slovakia. Subsequently he worked for a major Italian law firm in Milan, Italy assisting them with their international corporate work.

Mr. Hathi graduated with an LL.M from the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC. He obtained an LL.B. and an LL.M from M.S. University of Baroda. Mr. Hathi received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from M.S. University of Baroda. Mr. Hathi is a member of the New York Bar and the Gujarat Bar Council, India.
